Project’s goals:
The R&D project concerns the development, construction and testing of an autonomous mobile robot for retail stores with elements of global innovation.
The target group are the retail chains of the FMCG sector, e.g. grocery stores or drugstores. The aim of the project is to develop a robot autonomously navigating the store, whose task will be to analyze the shelves to verify the price labels of goods, build a map of the arrangement of goods on the shelves, its verification with a defined planogram and detecting shortages of goods on the shelves.
The robot will work both before opening the store and during opening hours when there are customers in the store.
The product is a response to the need to automate processes that require high labor intensity and control, such as ensuring that price labels are up-to-date, verifying the compliance of the arrangement of goods with the planogram or ongoing detection of the lack of goods on the shelf.
