In store chains with household appliances it is required to support multiple processes and functionalities that are not found in points of sale of other business trades. Functionalities specific to this type of store, included and currently being implemented in the Market software comprise:
- service of customer orders,
- reservation of goods in the central warehouse or in another store for a customer,
- verification of the online inventory of goods in the central warehouse and other stores,
- linking vendors with the item on the receipt,
- calculation of points awarded to vendors for the sale of certain goods and services,
- display of goods, resulting from the search (the need to provide filtering parameters) in the required order,
- display of products (goods and services) that are proposed to sale with the given commodity,
- suggestions for alternative and recommended products,
- the central complaint handling system,
- consignments management
- service of multiple warehouses in the store (for instance, regarding sales, booking, consignment, complaints)
- service of customers' orders from the online store, where the reception of the goods is to be made by the customer in the store,
- support orders placed by customers through an online store, where the reception of the goods is to be made by the customer in the store,
- service of the goods release (if the release is not at the time of payment) and the delivery of goods to the customer.
