Devices for packaging produced and processed meat are the ones most commonly used in supermarkets and hypermarkets, where cutting carcasses is performed. The packaging machines may occur in simpler and cheaper versions, which include specialized labelling scales and the so called “hot table” enabling manual packing of meat portions. However, they may as well appear as in semi-automatic versions or the fully automatic versions for weighing, packaging, and labelling.

These devices can work without being connected to the store’s IT network – in such case it is required to manually program all of the information that will be printed on labels: the product name, the PLU code, the ingredients list, allergens, the price per kilo, and others. They can also be connected to the store’s computer system, so that all required data can be sent automatically from our Market program.
